Mary Beth established one of the first rotational grazing practices in Vermont. It has helped maintain and use the allotted land to it’s full potential. New organic mater is also introduced to grazing land yearly to create nutrient rich soils.
Hamburger- $5.50/lb Comes in cryovac packages of 1-2 lbs and is availible on farm.
Other Retail cuts are available on farm on a first come first serve basis
Meat can also be purchased by the half, quarter, or eight
(Animals will be sent for slaughter as soon as a whole animal has been requested).
Wagyu Beef
Wagyu Simmental and Angus crosses are available for added tenderness and marbling.

Berkshire Pork
Recently, Fischer Farm has moved almost entirely to Berkshire hogs. Berkshires are known for their meat quality, tenderness, and juiciness, along with it’s marbling similar to beef.
The farm is also in a transition from, inside social housing to outdoor ‘free’ living. Hogs will have space in woods as well as barn space.

Simmental, Angus, and Wagyu, raised in Vermont. Fischer Farm was established in 1983 when Mary Beth moved to Rockingham. She brought Yorkshire hogs and Simmental cattle from Albany, New York.
